To ensure you receive the appropriate care, Dr. Walters requires out-of-town patients to remain in the New Orleans area to complete post-operative appointments. The times listed in the table below are not the times needed to recover.

After Care Services 

During your stay in New Orleans following surgery, concierge aftercare provided by registered nurses at your hotel is available from Decision Critical. The nurses at Decision Critical act as an extension of the care provided by Dr. Walters and his team. The Decision Critical nurses provide care in a private, relaxed setting so that you can focus on rest and recovery. 

Flying Into New Orleans 

Our practice is conveniently located less than 10 miles from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY), about halfway between the airport and New Orleans. If you’re renting a car, an airport shuttle provides rides to the rental car center.

Turn right onto South Access R and the veer left onto Service Rd 

Turn left onto Rental Blvd 

Take a slight right onto Jerome S. Glazer Airport Access Rd 

Use the left land to merge onto Interstate 10 using the ramp to New Orleans 

In 4 miles, use the right lane to take exit 228 for Causeway Blvd South 

Keep right and merge onto N Causeway Blvd 

Turn left onto Galleria Dr. The Galleria Medical building will be on your right. There is plenty of onsite parking.
